Our volunteer spirit is evident as you enjoy the many events offered in our community.  Ainsworth just received the State Tourism NCIP Award on November 3, 2007 for National Day of the Cowboy. (This was awarded to our community last year, also.) 

Other award winning events include Sandhills Discovery Experience, scheduled for July 9-11th.  Prior to the Experience is the Middle of Nowhere Carnival Days and following is K-BAR Bike Ride.
